The plugin integrates natively with Payload's built-in versioning system, allowing users to view the history of changes made to documents. While versioning is not mandatory for logging to function, enabling it enhances the utility of the audit logs by allowing diff views. Customization options are limited, but users can consult the provided `config.ts` file for any available settings. Payload Sentinel has no external dependencies and is compatible with Payload CMS version 3.81.0 and above. Future enhancements include an analytics panel and support for internationalization.
